And everything is just too peacefully boring

So, Imperial Malaysian Night 09 officially ended on the late night of 28th February (show held for two nights).

Back then, if you were in the production casts and crews, emails from the directors, dance chereographers, producers etc etc would flood across your university email inbox, and then you realised that your account has reached its memory capacity.

"Oi! Rehearsals on Wednesday at this @*! time, NO EXCUSE!!"
"Dear juniors, rehearsals on every weekends after Christmas Holidays, starting from 10am til 7pm, DONT BE LATE!!!"
"IF YOU DONT WANNA GET FUCKED, GET YOUR ASS TO REHEARSALS AT THIS F%*KING TIME!!!!"
"As MNite is 3 weeks away, rehearsals everyday after school from 6pm! What time will you be allowed to go home depends on how good the rehearsals are. =)"

And now that MNite 09 is over? Everything's back to the boring old fashion life - wake up early, go to school, finish school, go home, cook, sleep. Not like the days when you're being nagged a thousand times on almost every rehearsals by the directors and dance chereographers. Rehearsals were so intensed as MNite was approaching, that we even had full-run rehearsals from early morning until midnight in the theatre hall. The directors wouldn't let us go if he isn't satisfied about the dance and acts.

Obviously, people were not happy about most of their free time being taken up for rehearsals that, honestly, were not improving from one rehearsals to the other, and hence, wasn't worth it. But things changed when Imperial Malaysian Night 09 was just 2-4 weeks away. Everyone in the crew started to realised how important the show is, as Imperial Malaysian Society has the best reputation, because every year we create the best shows than the rest of the other universities in the UK, so good that even Cambridge and Oxford Malaysian Night are not up to our standard.

Just a few days ago, we threw the best show the Imperial Malaysian Society has ever created, all due to months of hardwork, efforts and sweat the cast and crews have put into the show.

I've never regret joining the team. It is certainly the best experience I have and it was definitely worth skipping classes just for rehearsals.

And most importantly, it unites everyone, regardless of race or religion, like how Malaysians are and not the Politicians.
